Week 3

This week, I had prioritised the tasks that I had given myself the previous week, and I started my studies by completing them first.

That is, taking my 3D works and muse to the next level. I was sure of the idea that I had in mind about the muse, that is, the character with a bony face in the alien look, but to do this in a more realistic version. Since the view in my vision was clear, I had no difficulty in completing the muse and I completed in accordance with my plan table. Which helped me so much to complete and plan my works week by week. Right after that, I switched to my 3D work and took out the molds. I gave the resin chemical a little more dense and shape by adding food colouring and beads to do inside of the resin chemical and poured it into its molds. It took about 24 hours for them to dry. It was not difficult to remove the materials, but I had some issues in some of the, as the resin did not remain chemically and not enough to take a drying form. Therefore, I had to give up a few models. In other words, I had a limited model, but this would not prevent me from making the 6 jewellery designs that I aimed at first. I just had to find new materials to make my continues jewellery.

Not to mess with my mind, I wanted to start working with the materials I had. I added metal wires to the resin to make it easier to work with and add dimension in jewellery design, and it all dried up perfectly. My nextstep is to connect these materials and create the image in my vision to come up with space themed jewelleries like I done in my research pages.

Overall, this week made me realise that, there will be always ups and down during a project. Not everything has to go according to the plan we created in our minds. Instead, we need to take shape according to the plan and prepare ourselves for such momentary changes. It is not possible for us to be predictive of the setbacks to be experienced throughout the project, and it is not possible for us to notice them beforehand.

However, what I mean is that it is very important that we prepare ourselves for spontaneous events in a precautionary manner and always be able to produce new ups and downs. Only by trying and observing we can able to make ourselves see what possibilities exist that are waiting for us to explore.
