Research peer review

In general, the idea of the project is sufficiently creative and self-accepted. Our subject is the past and the future, and in this chosen subject, the concept of time in space includes everything. The subject of space has been shown in a detailed way in the sketchbook and the colour tones are matching as well. Even textures in space are illustrated. Meteor texture and work have been emphasized many times with aluminium foil. Moreover, there are some wires with beads which I found very smart to do because it took the research out of only being 2D and gave it a bit more dense.

In the research pages in sketchbook, the pattern work that will be used in jewellery design is shown in the form of spirals and inspired by the energy field in space. On the other hand, since space is a very large area and represents infinity, it is reduced to a smaller area and selected as satellites. Satellites roles a very big role in the concept of the project that enabling us to establish connection between space and the world, and it suits this concept very well. At first, I couldn’t understand its connection to this idea, that is, how to use satellites features, but as I turned the pages, I realised how logical it actually was and it was very relevant to the subject was taken to a more stable area, and way more specific. As research pages, it has been a very nice and detailed concept, but since it is not possible to go to space, it is not possible to do research in person. Therefore, there must be strong researches from the Internet and books as a second choice. Its a bit of a challenging task to accomplish, because no research can create that satisfaction you see with bare eyes, but in general, textures, colours and a well summarised research pages on the concept. As a matter of fact, there weren’t a lot of jewellery designs, so I can’t comment much on that subject, but the texture and pattern connection with the research pages is very well established, even though it’s just an example.

Finally, the research pages were sufficiently successful and detailed. Even though its very good, it’s not a sufficient level because the chosen concept is very broad, although it is limited by these satellites. Short of the long sentence, I think that a little more research should be done on this subject and accordingly jewellery design should be continue. The connections with the given topic and time are very well correlated. It’s good to see 3D works in between instead of only 2D drawings on the pages. The subject is well written on the research pages, but always the better and mire successful of everything can be obtained by trial and error.
